HAPÉ
Hapé (Rapé) is a sacred Amazonian plant medicine made from jungle mapacho, tree ash, and other indigenous herbs. Traditionally used in spiritual and healing ceremonies, Hapé helps to clear energetic blocks, protect the body, and reconnect with higher guidance.
The tribes who carry this medicine teach that Master Plants—like Mapacho, Ayahuasca, Wachuma, Cacao, and Coca—can be either prison guards or powerful teachers. The difference lies in how they’re grown, prepared, and used. When respected, these plants open doorways to healing, insight, and spiritual remembrance.
Sourcing & Processing
Our Hapé is carefully grown, harvested, and prepared by wisdom keepers in the Amazon living in alignment with ancestral traditions. The blends are made through a labor-intensive and prayerful process— mapacho is sun-dried, hand-separated, and ground before being mixed with sacred ashes and herbs. Every step, from the forest to your hands, is guided by intention, protection, and love.
We source our Hapé directly from a trusted network of tribal communities ensuring economic empowerment and ethical trade without middlemen. We are in regular contact with these guardians of the forest, committed to supporting their way of life as the Amazon faces increasing threats.
Using Hapé
This medicine is typically taken through the nose, often focused at the third eye chakra. It may be self-administered or shared in ceremony. Hapé can be used up to 3 times a day (unless otherwise noted), always with intention, mindfulness, and reverence. It is both grounding and cleansing—a powerful ally for meditation, ritual, and daily energetic maintenance. As a purgative, it’s often used to release what no longer serves and to call in clarity, healing, and connection. Each blend offers something unique, and your experience will be deeply personal to your current state of being.
A Prayerful Reminder
This medicine carries a powerful lineage. It is not recreational. Please use it in a sacred way, giving yourself space to listen, connect, and integrate. You are the final steward of this plant’s energy—how you engage with it matters deeply.
Thank you for being part of this living prayer. Your support helps preserve these traditions and protect the forest and its people.
