At Mama Ayni, every item is handcrafted with sacred intention and paid for up front to the Indigenous artisan and creators who made it. This is part of our commitment to sacred reciprocity (Ayni) and economic justice.
 
Because of this model, we do not offer refunds, but we are happy to provide store credit or an exchange if your piece isn’t quite right, and your item is under $800.

Here’s how it works:
    •    You may request an exchange or store credit within 7 days of receiving your item.
    •    The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition, with tags and packaging.
    •    To initiate a return, email us at info@mamaayni.com with your order number and reason for the exchange.
    •    Once approved, you’ll receive instructions for returning your item and accessing your credit once the item is returned within 14 days of receipt.

We encourage thoughtful purchases—each piece is a one-of-a-kind heirloom, created with energy, time, and ancestral memory. Thank you for honoring the work, the rhythm, and the people behind it. Exceptions can possibly be made if requested in advance of the purchase on a case by case basis
