⸻
Design & Symbolism
Each Wayuu clutch carries stories inspired by the landscapes, rhythms, and ancestral knowledge of the Wayuu people. The geometric patterns (Kanaas) woven into these pieces are often inspired by the natural world, honoring the relationship between humans, animals, plants, and the elements.
Chünüꞌü
Wayuunaiki word for Hummingbird
The hummingbird is honored as a symbol of joy, resilience, and positive energy. Its ability to thrive in challenging environments mirrors the strength and adaptability of the Wayuu people and serves as an inspiration within contemporary artisan designs.
